This took a while...
The idea was my wife's. She thought it would be cute for me to draw the first time Derpy and Dr. Whooves met, so we came up with this: Whooves is walking along when Derpy randomly pops out of the bottom of a cloud to introduce herself.
I was originally going to name this "GAH!" or something to that effect, but I like the silliness of calling it Derpy Whooves.
Took me 4 days (about 12 hours total) to finish. Used PaintTool Sai, as usual. Also, this is my first time making a background. I was given advice to just keep it simple, and so after showing this to a select few on a pony chat channel, I decided to just call this finished.
In other news, I'm actually happy with how the poses came out. Yeah, surprised me too.
OH GOSH EDIT: Forgot the Doctor's cutie mark. Somehow. I fail as a human being.
'NOTHER EDIT: Holy crap. 50 faves and over 150 views in under a day? This is apparently my most popular piece evar. Thanks for all the attention, peeps. I'll try to keep whatever I have here going so as to please you all again.

I know of at least two people who have taken it upon themselves to animate the scene as they saw it in their minds. One is only the first... two minutes, or so, but it has this very scene as a rough sketch.
I do recommend it.
